About EAP

The classroom that works anywhere.

EAP (Education Ambition Possibility) puts a complete, curriculum-aligned classroom in a bag. Every lesson for every grade, Grade 1 to Grade 10, for the entire academic year, is already on the device. No internet needed.

The problem, and why now

A new curriculum, and classrooms that aren’t ready for it.

  1. 01

Kenya has moved to the new Competency-Based Education (CBE) curriculum. Few teachers have been trained to teach it.

  2. 02

Internet is unreliable or missing in many schools.

  3. 03

Digital literacy is low. Most edtech is too complicated for the classroom.

Why now

The problem is continental. Our solution finally fits the context.

Kenya

CBE is being rolled out in schools right now, and teachers need ready-to-teach lessons immediately.

Africa and beyond

Affordable projectors, batteries and storage now put a school year in a bag: no grid, no internet, no training. Any curriculum works; only the lessons change. Kenya’s CBE is first.

Why it works

Built to stay in use, not to be shipped and forgotten.

A device for every childOne ClassKit per class
Reliable internetNo internet: fully offline
Grid powerNo grid: one battery runs a full day

  • Five buttons

The remote has five buttons, against about 80 keys on a keyboard. Fewer buttons, more teaching.

  • Five minutes to learn

Teachers are comfortable with it in five minutes.

  • A full day on one battery

No grid power and no internet needed.

  • Delivered and maintained by EAP

We set it up, look after it and replace it. Nobody local has to fix it.

In the classroom

Every class. Every lesson. Every day.

the full academic year, Grade 1 to Grade 10
  • EAP is not used alongside the lesson. EAP is the lesson: explanation, vocabulary, an example and a check question on every slide.
  • The whole academic year is on the device. We cover Grade 1 to Grade 10, and for each grade the lessons for all three terms are there, from the first lesson of term to the last.
  • The library covers every strand and sub-strand of the CBE curriculum designs, with teacher notes and a learning activity for every lesson.
  • Once a school’s timetable runs on EAP, switching it out means re-planning the whole year.

Proof

Teachers use it all day. Students ask for it.

We piloted the ClassKit in a Kenyan school, with full school days of use.

Teacher, pilot school

Today we are working with 7 schools and 114 classrooms. Every school came to us through a referral from education leaders, not cold outreach.
